Zahra Virji is a self taught henna artist, known for her creative and clean designs. Her passion for henna art began at a young age and through the years she has gained success with her creative unique style.

As a young girl she was mesmerized when watching henna artists decorate women’s hands at henna parties and on special occasions. Noticing how everyone would be so happy after their henna application, she felt like the henna artist had a wand in her hand spreading smiles while working her magic. Zahra always wanted to be that person and spread these magical smiles.

In 2011 Zahra moved to New York, USA. She decided to try and spread some of the henna magic she loved. Soon Henna, by Zahra Virji was formed and with her love for the art she spread lots of smiles. With her innovative design, passion and exquisite style, her work has been featured on NBC’s Today Show, PEOPLE magazine, POP Sugar, CNBC, HELLO magazine, CeCi Style NY, Punjab Tv, various South Indian wedding shows and many leading magazines.
